lets see,going with the F-zero games here..
1. yes,it was from an anime based on F-zero,but it was not canon. besides,smash brothers came out in 1999,and the anime came out in 2003.
2. the punch is fan made to make him a fighter in a non-canon fighting game. get over it
3. no,not really. he never runs or gets out of his car at all in his universe or games,and Sonic is fast enough to go toe to toe with god-like beings and creatures,not to mention he can breath in space with his super and normal form.
4 since when? as far as i can tell that is from a COMPLETELY different game series in a completely different time zone. and besides,Gygas kinda got defeated..so yeah..
